The iPhone Dev Team behind pretty much any mainstream jailbreaking tool for the iPhone has released yellowsn0w – beta software which allegedly allows you to use your phone on any cell carrier.

You require an already jailbroken phone, and then a lot of luck by the sounds of it as a good percentage of people (including Gizmodo) have failed to get it to work.

It worked: 23 34.33%
It doesn’t work: 44 65.67%
