Google has a hidden feature which allows you to sort its results by the date they were indexed, descending, allowing much more powerful search.
Just add this string
&as_qdr=dto the address bar and hit enter. You’ll get a custom drop-down box that lets you re-order results based on date.

I think there must be a bunch of tricks that Google don’t tell about its hidden features. Thanks for the trick.

It’s not “sort” by date, but “filter” by date. There’s a big difference. I’d personally like to see the former implemented worldwide.
